Ambassadors

CSCNL is seeking individuals from across Newfoundland and Labrador who would like to help raise awareness of National Volunteer Week.

The 2026 theme “Igniting Volunteerism” highlights the power, impact and importance of individual and collective volunteer efforts across Canada. Like a spark catching on the wind, volunteering is movement building. Each individual contribution, big or small, carries the power to ignite action, lighting the way for others and building momentum across our communities. What begins as a single act of kindness can grow into something far greater, a steady flame of positive change spreading from one neighbour to the next. Together, we don’t just create ripples, we kindle a collective energy that warms and strengthens every corner of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The sharing of time, skills, empathy, and creativity fuels the inclusivity, resilience, and well-being of our province. In a place where communities are deeply rooted and connected, volunteers are the spark that keeps that connection alive. By coming together, offering support, and growing our collective efforts, volunteers ignite a force that enhances quality of life and ensures our communities continue to thrive, today and for generations to come.
