After a 30-year career as an archivist in Memorial`s Queen Elizabeth II Library, he retired in August 2015, but continues to be associated with the University as a part-time instructor with the Department of English and as University Marshal. Bert has an extensive background in the volunteer sector that includes working with the Newfoundland-Labrador Human Rights Association, Working Group on Child Sexual Abuse, the St. John`s Folk Arts Council and the Resource Centre of the Arts, to name but a few.

Ryan graduated from MUN with a Bachelor of Arts and attended law school at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Ryan was on the Executive Committee for the Indigenous Law Students’ Association at UBC and is excited to get involved in the non-profit sector in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Susan is the Founder of the School Lunch Association and Kids Eat Smart; Chair, Food Security Network, National Advisory Committee on Child Nutrition, Breakfast for Learning; Recipient, Order of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Queen’s Golden Jubilee Award for Community Service.

Raisi is the Associate Director, Community Innovation Fund, and Consulting Director for the Learning Center with the Tamarack Institute, and is currently on the Board of Directors for the MakeWay Foundation (formerly Tides Canada). Raisi has a BA in International Development Studies and Environment from McGill University, and has completed her course work for a Masters of Arts in Geography, specializing in Stakeholder Engagement and Rural Development from Memorial University. Her other research interests include community/youth engagement, innovation diffusion, social network theory, community economic development, service learning for development and coastal community development.

Natasha is Regional Manager, Partnerships - Atlantic Canada, BDC. Formerly International Business Development Executive with the Newfoundland Association of Technology Industries (NATI), Natasha is an experienced business development executive with an exceptional understanding of multi-stakeholder collaboration and extensive experience in managing publicly funded initiatives within guidelines and budgets.

Lloydetta was invested into the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2019, and is recipient of the 2019 Canada’s Volunteer Awards for Community Leader (Atlantic Region). She has a long history of volunteering in leadership positions in community organizations and in promoting the values of multiculturalism and intercultural relations.
