Community Sector Council of Newfoundland and Labrador, in partnership with Capacity Canada, is launching Open Hearth — a national initiative now being introduced in Newfoundland and Labrador to strengthen equity in nonprofit leadership and workplace culture.

Open Hearth responds to persistent gaps in leadership representation and pay equity by supporting women and gender-diverse leaders and advancing inclusive organizational practices across the community sector. In Newfoundland and Labrador, the initiative will include a provincial mentorship network and a culture-change framework designed to foster belonging, equity, and long-term sustainability in nonprofit workplaces.

This virtual information session will provide an overview of Open Hearth, outline upcoming opportunities, and share details about mentorship participation.
