Community Ideas Festival 2026 is a cross-sector gathering that brings together community leaders, innovators, and practitioners from across Newfoundland and Labrador to share ideas, spark collaboration, and strengthen community-led innovation.
Guided by this year’s theme, Future-Proofing Newfoundland and Labrador’s Community Sector, the festival will explore how we can strengthen the people, connections, and resources that communities need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Through conversations, learning sessions, and shared experiences, participants will engage with key questions around resilience, collaboration, and long-term sustainability in the community sector.
This is not a traditional conference — it is a curated space designed to elevate community voices and the ecosystem of organizations and partners who support them.
The festival will take place from April 29 to May 1, 2026, in a hybrid format, welcoming both in-person and virtual participants.
🔗 Registration details will be shared soon — stay tuned for updates.
