What is the Canada Summer Jobs Program?

The Canada Summer Jobs program is a government initiative that provides 70,000 quality job opportunities for youth during the 2025 summer season. By participating in this program, employers can support youth in gaining valuable work experience, developing new skills, and connecting with the labor market.

The program offers wage subsidies to eligible employers to create summer employment opportunities for individuals aged 15 to 30 years old. Jobs funded through this program can take place between April 21, 2025, and August 30, 2025.
