FTLOL was founded by journalist and activist Robin Grant in 2006, after she recognized the need for a positive, unconditional learning environment for at-risk youth. It combines the principles of art therapy with the desire to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to youth in need of harbour, expression and coin. Often, they are in need of all three.
