ABC is for any child between 6-17, who has sustained a burn injury and lives in Atlantic Canada.A severe burn injury is considered to be one that required at least four days at a burn centre or affects the face, head, hands or feet. There is lots to do on camp, there is a swimming pool staffed by lifeguards, basketball and volleyball areas, lots of open area for soccer and baseball or just flying kites. There is also an arts and crafts cabin and planned day trips.

The group currently has approximately 80 members Some of the more recent investments which the Auxiliary has made at James Paton Memorial include: a pediatric crash cart, a colposcope for the gynecology clinic, and palliative care room revitalization.
