Our mission is to grow by introducing x-c skiing to the region, organize and hold local and provincial events, as well as produce skiers who can compete provincially and nationally to meet their individual goals. We also strive to provide individuals and families alike with the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors all winter long on a pair of skis.
The Birch Brook Nordic Ski Club is a non-profit,recreational and environmental education facility with a mandate to encourage affordable outdoor recreation, physical and mental fitness and appreciate the natural environment.The club is a popular site for cross-country skiing enthusiasts, attracting about 200 members comprising a large youth contingent. The club is taking an active approach to building its reputation as an ideal skiing locale through its attempts to bring provincial and regional competitions to the area.

The White Wolf Snowmobile Club (WWSC) was formed in 1997 to provide unparalleled snowmobiling for its members in Labrador West. From 150 registered machines in 1997 to over 1000 today, the WWSC has become the largest organized club of its kind in Atlantic Canada. One of the mandates of the WWSC is to provide a safe and comfortable trail system whereby resident and non-resident snowmobilers can safely travel in excess of 450km of groomed trail
