The community of Makkovik uses the school gym after 6 p.m. each weekday. The Recreation Director and/or the Assistant Recreation Director supervise the scheduled gym activities during the evenings. The Recreation department uses this facility for many activities such as tournaments, carnivals, sports training and regular gym usage as well as fundraising.
