The Mount Pearl Citizen's Crime Prevention Committee is a group of concerned citizens from the city of Mount Pearl who share a belief that crime prevention can be achieved through community involvement and education.
Strives to act as the governing body for and promote interaction among Citizens' Crime Prevention Committees in Newfoundland and Labrador; promotes the development of education programs relative to "Safer Home - Safer Communities"; identifies problem areas relative to crime prevention and works in association with law enforcement agencies and other organizations in developing programs aimed at solving these problems
Assists federal SAR forces in the province. Promotes aviation safety. Operates in five zones in Newfoundland and Labrador. Each zone has its own support staff and infrastructure. Members participate in training sessions, workshops coordinated by the National Association in aviation safety, spotting techniques, map reading, and other SAR techniques. Tasked by RCC Halifax. Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC) is a not- for - profit corporation. It is the governing body for all aspects of model aviation in Canada.
The most easterly federation in Canada, CHANAL was founded in 1990 to serve and represent the housing co operatives of Newfoundland and Labrador. There are about 25 CHANAL members, who are also all members of CHF Canada. CHANAL takes part in the lobbying activities organized nationally by CHF Canada. A CHANAL volunteer represents the association at CHF Canadas Federations Committee.

The College for Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL), in accordance with the Licensed Practical Nurses' Act, has the legislative responsibility for regulating the practice of Licensed Practical Nurses in Newfoundland and Labrador. The mission of the CLPNNL is to promote safety and protection of the general public through the provision of safe, competent and ethical nursing care.
The CMTNL is legislated to ensure high professional and educational standards for massage therapists. High standards of care protect the public. All massage therapists are required to be registered with the College and to be members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Massage Therapists' Association.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador regulates the practice of medicine in the public interest
ARNNL is the regulatory body and professional organization representing all registered nurses and nurse practitioners in the province.
