Connaigre Arena Ice and Curling Rink was founded in 1993, Connaigre Arena of Harbour Breton, NL is an indoor rink and open year round. Features, ice skating, figure skating, curling, hockey and other events.
A festival which celebrates the rich history of the community and the past Badger Drive. The Badger Drive was a log drive which took place on the Exploits River between Badger and Grand Falls between 1908 and 1991. All of the pulpwood from Millertown to Badger had to pass through this area. To facilitate this, hundreds of men were employed to keep the logs flowing down the river.
The Baie Verte Peninsula Miners' Museum brings to life a typical mine from the late1800s to present day. It features six major mines and Dorset Eskimo artifacts, illustrating the life of a miner from the late nineteenth century to present day.

We are committed to providing youth with the necessary tools to make better career decisions. The targeted clientele for the centre are youth who may face a variety of employment barriers.

Celtic Spirit Dancers is the only Irish dance school in Central Newfoundland & Labrador. It aims to share the world wide love and passion of Irish dance with the Central community. To develop, teach and present a dance curriculum that is rich in dance expression, performance exposure and competition.
The Harbour Breton Hospital Auxiliary began in this region in 1979 and since then the group has been a major contributor of funds towards many important health programs and services for their local Health Centre such as a palliative care room, a bathing station, a cardiac monitoring system, two morphine pumps, several geriatric chairs and a chemo room with a double pump and chair. The 17 volunteer members sell tickets on donated items, hold bake sales, bingos and a hold a weekly 50/50 draw in the community, in addition to running the Health Centre Gift Shop.
The Valley Vista Senior Citizens Complex is a three-fold facility comprised of the Valley Vista long-term care facility & cottages and Vista Place cottages. The long-term care facility houses 110 beds (75 long-term care, 3 respite & 32 residential beds). It offers Levels I to IV care, 24 hour nursing service, a social worker on site, active recreation therapy program (including comprehensive rehabilitation service with physiotherapy aide on site, as well as volunteer programs), consultation with a physiotherapist & occupational therapist, clinical dietitian services, personal laundry service/housekeeping/maintenance, and the Green Bay Health Care Centre Auxiliary. The long-term care facility is surrounded by 88 independent cottages. The newest addition to the Complex is Vista Place, a collection of cottages for seniors located in the new residential area of town
