Our pastoral charge is composed of 5 communities, which operate 5 churches & related other facilities. It also maintains a manse & pays its minister. The cost of operating the charge is borne by the 5 points who are also responsible for the maintenance of the properties. To do this work each point has church suppers etc.

Throughout the week we run a children's program for ages 0-11 yrs, a youth program (ages 12-18) and a program for adults. We believe these programs minister to both the spiritual and social needs of the local people. Other programs in this organization include missions, where the assembly contributes to our provincial office to help with the work of other churches within our province and outside of Canada

People First of Newfoundland and Labrador is an organization started by individuals who have been labeled with an intellectual disability. They wanted to have a voice in their community and they wanted everybody to know that labels hurt people. They wanted to be known as people first, and started a group by that name.
