The Innu Nation is the governing body of the Innu of Labrador. It represents the collective rights and interests of approximately 1,700 Innu people in two communities, Sheshatshiu and Davis Inlet (Utshimassit) under the direction of an elected Board of Directors. Legally, the Innu Nation is a federally incorporated not-for-profit corporation, first incorporated as the Naskapi-Montagnais Innu Association (NMIA) in 1977
The Institute conducts and provides incisive, comprehensive, multidisciplinary and unbiased scientific research in Labrador and northeastern Qubec ecosystems affected by the low-level flying program. It conducts research on the socio-economic effects of the military activities. The Institute offers scientifically supported recommendations to the Ministers of Environment and National Defence on the policy issues relating to the impacts of low-level flying.
Inuit Pathways was created through an agreement with Human Resources and Social Development Canada to implement the federal government's Aboriginal Human Resource Development Strategy in Nunatsiavut. The program supports labour market training and business development for Labrador Inuit.

The kANGIDLUASUk Student Program is a non-profit initiative that provides field-based experiential education and leadership programs for Inuit youth at the Torngat Mountains Base Camp and Research Station in Nunatsiavut, Labrador. The multi-faceted programs combine experiences in Inuit culture, Arctic science, leadership development, and outdoor adventure.
