Alexander Murray Hiking Trail – King’s Point King's Point

Objective:

The Alexander Murray hiking trail on the Baie Verte Peninsula leads to a loop around a 1200 foot summit overlooking the Southwest Arm fjord. Approximately 6 to 8 kms in length, the trail can be completed in 3 to 4 hours depending on the amount of time spent sightseeing. For a more pleasurable experience allow 4 to 6 hours. Waterfalls, mountains, barrens, open ocean, and the Gaff Topsails can all be seen on or from this trail. The trail is marked and has lots of challenging sections, some intermediate and some easy.
