Volunteer Week 2026 (April 19–25) is a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible contributions of volunteers across Newfoundland and Labrador. Under this year’s theme, “Ignite Volunteerism,” we highlight how every act of service — big or small — sparks connection, strengthens communities, and creates lasting impact.
As part of the International Volunteer Year (IVY26), this is a special opportunity to come together, show appreciation, and inspire more people to get involved.
✨ We invite you to explore our Volunteer Week page, where you’ll find tools, resources, and ideas to help you celebrate, recognize, and amplify volunteerism in your community.
