Organizational Continuity Transition Planning Pilot Project (OCTPP)

Are you concerned about the future of your organization when faced with a change in senior leadership? If your senior leadership is retiring or departing, you may worry about the potential threats to your organization’s stability and continuity due to insufficient resources for a smooth transition. Community Sector NL (CSCNL) is here to help.

Introducing the Organizational Continuance – Transition Planning Pilot Project (OCTPP). This innovative program aims to address a critical labour market issue by providing vital support to organizations that are in immediate need of filling a senior position but lack the financial means to ensure a seamless transition. The OCTPP offers short-term ‘emergency’ assistance to key organizations at risk, helping them maintain their operational continuity during leadership changes.

Through the OCTPP, CSCNL can provide up to $30,000 and direct Human Resources support to cover the costs associated with recruitment and salary overlaps of senior employees.

This financial support can make a significant difference in navigating the challenges that arise during leadership transitions, ensuring your organization remains strong and resilient.

Expressions of Interest will be reviewed by CSCNL for eligibility and an arms-length committee for selection. This is a standalone program with a finite amount of funding and specific timelines. The nature of the project as a pilot allows for some flexibility to maneuver as the situation unfolds. Please note: Funding spaces are limited and eligibility does not guarantee automatic assistance.
