Community organizations are searching for better ways to demonstrate the value of their work, to understand the causal relationships behind it, and to make its delivery more efficient.

As an organization whose mandate is to serve the many community groups in Newfoundland and Labrador, the Community Sector Council NL has regularly heard this need from its partner organizations, and is always looking for innovative ways to help the sector do its work even better. Social return on investment (SROI) analysis is one approach gaining usage as a solution to this challenge.
