We are a non-profit association comprised of all Nigerians and Nigerian-Canadians living in Newfoundland and Labrador (NL). Together, we promote diversity and networking among Nigerians in NL, showcasing the rich Nigerian cultural heritage while contributing positively to the NL and Canadian multicultural landscape. We help to foster socio-economic development through intercultural exchange with other community groups within the province.
Our objectives are to connect culturally diverse school youth; foster belonging and acceptance among all school children, regardless of their ethnicity, culture, language, ability, sexual orientation, or religion; be relevant within the schools and province; and contribute towards an inclusive and cohesive society.
The Newfoundland Gurdwara is the centre for 25 Sikh families in the province, located at 680 Logy Bay Road. It provides services and religious supports to the community
