The Newfoundland Historic Trust is a membership-driven organization dedicated to the preservation of the built heritage of Newfoundland and Labrador through research, advocacy and education. Newman Wine Vaults is located on 436 Water Street, St. John's.
The Newfoundland T'Railway Council is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the development of a recreational trail from St. Johns to Port aux Basques using the former Canadian National railway line. Its mandate is to promote multi-use trail development and to preserve abandoned railway lines for future use such as hiking, biking, equestrian, snowmobile, ATV and cross-country ski trails.
The North Atlantic Aviation Museum is one of Gander's newest treasures and is a result of many years of hard work and dedication. The Newfoundland and Labrador Police and Peace Officers Memorial is dedicated to the memory of those police and peace officers who lost their lives in the performance of their duties, while protecting the lives and property of the people and the natural resources of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Torbay Newfoundland Pony Project is a charitable organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Newfoundland Ponies. The project began as a group of pony owners and enthusiasts. The group occasionally hosted pony rides and gathered for fence building.
The Society convinced the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador that the Newfoundland Pony was a living part of the provinces cultural history and as such, required legal protection before there were too few ponies to maintain a healthy population.
Consists of numerous artifacts which depict the history of the community. Our Museum is opened during regular busines hours year round. Come and check it out. It is located at the Town Hall.
The collection, which includes manuscripts, artifacts, record books, photographs and personal papers documents the history of the Presentation Order in Newfoundland from the arrival of the first four volunteers to the present day. The Archives also holds materials related to education and to other apostolates in which the Presentation Order is involved.

The Railway Coastal Museum's home is in the 107 year old train station building, located at 495 Water Street West in St. Johns. It occupies the entire ground floor, and including the passenger platform. The two upper floors house the St. Johns City Archives and Records, and the social rooms of the CN Pensioners.
