The Mount Pearl Skating Club is based out of the Glacier and Smallwood arenas in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada. We offer a variety of skating programmes for all ages and ability, including CanSkate, and Skate Canada StarSkate, Syncroskate and Competitive.
The Mount Pearl Sport Alliance was incorporated in 1994 to develop and strengthen a collaborative approach for the delivery of sport, which would provide opportunities for participation and the maximum use of facilities and resources. The Alliance model has two major components; community centered sport and partnerships.
Mount Pearl Synchro is a volunteer non-profit club that promotes, teaches, and supports the sport of synchronized swimming. The White Elephant Museum Inc. is located in Makkovik, which is on the north coast of Labrador.It is open to the public seasonally, from July 1 to August 31, or by appointment. It houses and displays artifacts important to the culture and heritage of Labrador in order to promote awareness of its history.
Today, our committee oversees the Torbay Museum, which now houses hundreds of artifacts and carries out special projects to promote and preserve our community's heritage.
