Join us for our next Coffee’s On with CSCNL, an initiative under our Community Vitality portfolio that brings together government agencies, community groups, and service providers interested in well-being, poverty reduction, and the social determinants of health.
For our November session, Lindsey Hynes (CSCNL) will be joined by Erin Winsor (Arts & Aging Network) for a conversation about the power of creativity, collaboration, and connection.
Learn how the Arts & Aging Network uses arts programming and participatory performances to bring people together across generations, challenge perceptions of aging and dementia, and build more connected and inclusive communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
We’ll explore how creativity can be a powerful tool for community building, even if you don’t consider yourself an artsy person!
Every community has its own strengths, experiences, and ideas, and there’s so much we can learn from the people who know their communities best. By sharing the Arts & Aging approach and learning from one another, we hope to spark new ideas for building stronger, more inclusive communities through programming, partnerships, and new ways of bringing people together.
Whether you’re interested in bringing Arts & Aging to your community or simply sharing your experiences and ideas, we’d love to connect and hear from you!
