The Discovery Shooting Clubis a not-for-profit organization that opened to the public in late 2002. It provides a safe and controlled environment for firearm enthusiasts to conduct safe shooting activities. It encourages and promotes legal firearm ownership while supporting local organizations in the furtherance of the area. It also ensures the continuation of the Annual Peter Tucker Memorial Shooting Challenge.
The Shooting Federation of Canada (SFC) is the national sport governing body responsible for the promotion, development and governing of organized, recreational and competitive target shooting in and for Canada. SFC represents all Canadian firearm owners and is also responsible for the development, protection and promotion of all firearm owners' rights, property and their sport.

If it can be said that Corner Brook Lodge has an objective, it is "making good men better". As a fraternity we support our members in their service to their families, their community and their Lodge. Corner Brook Lodge is a vibrant and dynamic Lodge and meets regularly on the first Wednesday of every month (September to June) and on the first Thursday in January at Bennett Hall on West Street, Corner Brook. The objective of the Masonic Hall Company is to oversee all activities within Bennett Hall as well as to maintain the building itself.

The Shrine is an international fraternity of approximately 350,000 members who belong to Shrine Centres throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and The Republic of Panama. Founded in New York City in 1872, the organization today is composed of master masons.The Shrine is best-known for its colorful parades, its distinctive red fez, and its official philanthropy.
