Interested in hosting a young person through ASCEND?

Join one of our upcoming ASCEND Fall 2026 Information Sessions to learn how your organization can participate in this fully subsidized youth employment program.

ASCEND (Achieving Success through Community ENgagement and Development) connects youth (ages 15–30) who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET) with nonprofit and community sector organizations across Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island through 19–21 week paid work placements.

Before placements begin, participants complete 70 hours of virtual career and personal development training, helping them build the skills and confidence to contribute from day one.

Tuesday, August 4

• 10:30 AM (Newfoundland)
• 10:00 AM (Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island)

Wednesday, August 5

• 3:00 PM (Newfoundland)
• 2:30 PM (Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island)

These sessions cover the same content, so simply choose the date and time that works best for you.
