The United Church of Canada is rooted in God, Jesus, and the Bible. An important part of our life and work at Bethany United Church is our ministry of Pastoral Care and Outreach. Rev. Colbourne visits the hospital on a regular basis and any other times when requested, but certainly in the case of urgent need.Another priority is regular visitation of sick and shut-in persons of the congregation. The visitation of all homes is a pastoral care objective that will in time be shared by minister and laity.

The Upper Trinity Amateur Radio Club (UTARC) is largely a club serving the eastern shore of Trinity Bay but has members as faraway as St Johns The club is incorporated, RAC affiliated and carries RAC Liability insurance.. We have an average of about 13 members & new members are always welcome. The club station is located at the Hearts Content Cable Station
Valmont Academy is an all-grade (K-12) school located in King's Point, NL. The school has a population of approximately 125 students from King's Point, Rattling Brook, and the Harry's Harbour area. The staff consists of 15 teachers and 2 support staff. We have a well-equipped science laboratory and two computer technology labs with internet access. In addition to our extensive academic program, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities.
