We deliver innovative programs and powerful advocacy that empower people impacted by blindness to live their dreams and tear down barriers to inclusion. Our work as a blind foundation is powered by a network of volunteers, donors and partners from coast to coast to coast.
The Vista Family Resource Centre provides programs and services to families aged 0-6 living on the Bonavista Peninsula. Programs provide children with opportunities to play, socialize, learn, explore and become more physically active. We also offer parent support and education programs and workshops. Our Healthy Baby Club offers information sessions and nutritional supplements to expectant mothers. All programs are free of charge and offer healthy snacks. Main site in Bonavista with outreach sites in Catalina, Plate Cove, Port Rexton and Musgravetown

BWMC inc. Is a committee focused on providing a well managed and environmentally sound regional waste management site for the surrounding communities. Wherein we provide land fill services and/or promote services such as; waste collection, waste diversion and recycling. Our mission is to reduce the amount of landfill sites in Bay St. George, Port au Port Peninsula and Bay St. George South which were becoming a greater threat to the environment. By instituting this regional landfill site, we are hoping to fulfill a need for long term, well managed waste management.
