On September 21 from 1:30–2:30 p.m., Community Sector Council Newfoundland and Labrador (CSCNL) is hosting Fora: Network for Change for an informal one-hour session at our offices.
Come meet the Fora team, learn more about their work, and explore opportunities to connect and collaborate.
For over a decade, Fora has supported and advanced the leadership of youth aged 18–29 who identify as young women, genderqueer, and nonbinary and who experience gender-based barriers. Through their programs, young leaders build the skills, knowledge, confidence, and networks they need to participate fully in decision-making spaces, from boardrooms to the halls of the United Nations.
Fora also works directly with nonprofit boards through their Equity on Boards Initiative, helping organizations strengthen their governance through an equity lens. They support boards in reviewing and strengthening their bylaws and policies, simplifying governance language, embedding more inclusive practices, translating governance into day-to-day action, and building stronger, more accountable board cultures.
Whether you’re interested in youth leadership, equitable governance, board development, or simply want to learn more about Fora, they’d love to meet you!
