Coffee’s On is a Community Sector Council NL initiative that brings together government agencies, community organizations, service providers, and community members to connect, share knowledge, and discuss topics related to well-being, poverty reduction, and the social determinants of health.
Join us province-wide on September 11 at 10:00 a.m. NST on Zoom as Lindsey Hynes (CSCNL) hosts a conversation with Lifewise Mental Health Peer Services on Peer Support in Substance Use Health and Addiction: Walking the Path Together.
In recognition of National Substance Use Health Week of Action, this free session will explore the realities of substance use health and addiction, challenge common misconceptions, and highlight the important role that peer support and strong support systems play in recovery.
Grounded in lived experience, participants will gain practical insights, compassionate approaches, and greater confidence in supporting others—and themselves.
Whether you work in the community sector, provide care, or simply want to better support someone in your life, this session offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and be part of the conversation.
